Heal the World by Michael Jackson

Heal the World is my favorite song of all time. I first heard this song being sung by the primary school choir for my graduation and thought it was such a beautifully written song. A couple of days following the graduation I awoke to the same song being played on the radio, but this time it was sung by what I could only remember thinking was “the voice of an angel.” I subsequently discovered it was Michael Jackson and thereafter my life has never been the same.

This song has a great meaning about love, peace, unity and making the world a better place for all generations. It’s a very calming and uplifting song and an example of song writing that’s so unique that it cannot be easily imitated. It’s a truly amazing song that seeks to unite all people regardless of background, ethnicity, religion or belief.

Heal the World holds a special place in my heart because it carries the message of helping others. It was a principal reason for my choice of career, so that I could assist those in need. This song also has the power to motivate and inspire me, for example, I’d have the worst possible day but after playing this song, everything is ok again and I can go out and face the world, all refreshed. This is just a beautiful song written and sung by an angel.
